The Accelerated Wellness Program

An intensive five-day program of evidence-based therapies for combat veterans, active-duty service members and their significant others. Every part of it is free.

Five Days Focused on Healing

The Accelerated Wellness Program (AWP) gives combat veterans and their significant others access to evidence-based alternative therapies not traditionally offered through the VA. The week is built around post-traumatic growth and camaraderie.

Participants receive daily sessions of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Integrative Restoration (iRest), two evidence-based approaches that help warriors work through post-traumatic stress and transition-related anxiety.

Daily ART and iRest

One-on-one Accelerated Resolution Therapy and guided iRest meditation every day of the program.

Movement and the Outdoors

Gentle adaptive yoga, equine facilitated learning, a raptor sanctuary visit and camaraderie-building outings.

No Cost to Warriors

Food, lodging and transportation during the week are provided. Out-of-state warriors may qualify for flight sponsorship through our partner HOOAH, Inc.

What to Expect
